Despite All Odds.
“You were given so few things to have hope in, but still found something to hold onto.” - Someone dear to me.
Introduced to design in middle school, I set my sights on this dynamic industry. Growing up in challenging circumstances, I embraced resilience and self-belief, surpassing expectations as a person of color and growing up in the lower-working class.
Through academic achievements, I became a first generation college student and hold a BA in Graphic Design. Given my past, I am used to problem solving and over-coming barriers. I think that's why I enjoy UX as much as I do.
